Jessica Sligter, Dutch singer and composer recently proclaimed by ENO magazine as 'Norgesvenn', has relocated back to Oslo. After having released her second solo-album 'Fear and the Framing' in 2012 to much critical acclaim (a.o. Dagens Næringsliv: "frighteningly good"), she has been developing more conceptual ways of working, amongst others in collaboration with Jenny Hval ('The Dark Passenger: Rituals' performed at Kapittel Festival in Stavanger) and organizing the collective singing-gatherings in the 'Sacred Harp'-tradition (not to be mistaken for the band, which is on hiatus). Before heading out to Seattle to start recording with Randall Dunn (Earth, Sunn O))), Master Musicians of Bukkake) for her third solo-record, Jessica will engage in two more collaborations: with Norwegian songstress Susanna for Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, and with Dutch composer Wilber Bulsink.
